In June I went for a walk in Waveny Park only to find heavy construction equipment and massive destruction of the woods along the footpath.

A photograph of the sun rising over the Waveny fields this morning: Today is Veteran’s Day. Temperatures were in the low 40′s this morning, the sky was clear and the sun shone brightly.

Waveny Park, New Canaan, Connecticut. – My daily walk: 2028 On my walk today I came across some beautiful sights. A few other sights too, but we’ll get to that. And yes, conservatively speaking, I’ve walked the Waveny trails 2028 times in the past decade or so.
