Five pictures of the season, October 15th in Waveny Park, New Canaan, CT. The Lapham Estate looks majestic in Autumn. The colors of fall are truly sensational. Standing at the foot of a tree that’s dripping bright orange has a surreal quality. No other time of the year do the leaves lend more magnificence to the land.
This is my favorite part of the season – when the leaves begin to change. It is really a beautiful color pallete, and I love to drive through the state park where I live.
It makes for a nice outing.
You have inspired me to visit the East Coast in the Fall. I will be there next year to see some of this beauty in real life
The color on the third image came out quite beautiful, with the contrast between the red leaves, blue sky, and yellow along the bottom. And it’s amazing how such a tiny chipmunk can appear to be master of all he surveys
