Today’s Advertiser has an article on The Waveny Running Club which meets at 9:20am every Tueday. Runners gather in the parking lot between the pool and the paddle courts. This is a coached workout for runner’s of varying ability. Check out wavenyrunningclub.com for more.

I apologize in advance for whining but I really hate it when people park on the grass when there are huge parking areas bordering the fields. The No Parking signs don’t apply to you?

Waveny had a field, several acres wide, of tall grasses and teaming with wildlife. A few years ago a truck came and delivered a pile of concrete debris, followed by piles of asphalt debris and then dirt at the far end. Today there are no more fields.
